PROGRAM
Day 1 - Vani Cathedral, pools & Sairme
During the transfer from the airport, you make a stop along the way of Vani, where you have the option to visit the Vani Cathedral, explore the Archaeological Museum, and even take a dip in the rejuvenating Sulphur Bath if you'd like. Afterward, you'll continue your journey to the Sairme, where a hotel awaits. You can unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner before getting a well-deserved rest.

Day 2 - Kutaisi sightseeing
You will have breakfast in the morning and then visit the sights of Imereti. Among them are churches, monasteries, a museum, and a botanical garden. The Bagrati Cathedral, built in 1003 during Bagrati III's reign, is a remarkable landmark temple in Georgian church architecture. The monument is significant for both its architectural design and historical and symbolic value. At night, you will return to Sairme for dinner and rest.

Day 3 - Sataflia, Prometheus Cave & Tskaltubo
After breakfast, you will see Sataplia - a fascinating monument complex located in the Imereti region of Georgia, which offers a diverse range of attractions including geological, paleontological, speleological, zoological, and botanical monuments. Visitors can explore the 900m long Sataflia karst cave, which contains wonderful rock formations, and fossilised footprints of dinosaurs. You will also see the sanatoriums of Tskaltubo and Prometheus Cave, you will stay in a family hotel in Tskaltubo.

Day 4 - Okatse & Martvili Canyons
In the morning, you will begin your hike and explore the stunning Okatse and Martvili canyons. Admire the breathtaking natural beauty as you traverse the rugged terrain and witness the awe-inspiring views. Later, you will visit Martvili Monastery with a serene atmosphere. Finally, you will transfer to Zugdidi, where you can relax and unwind at a comfortable hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 5 - Dadiani Palace, Paliastomi lake, Anaklia
Your day will begin with a visit to the Dadiani palace, a historic residence that belonged to the Dadiani princes of Samegrelo. This elegant palace was originally constructed in the 17th century by Levan II Dadian, the chief of Odisha, and it is located in the heart of Zugdidi. During the day, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Tsaishi Cathedral, Paliastomi Lake and hike in the beautiful Kolkheti nature reserve. After a day filled with exploration, you will make your way to the charming town of Anaklia where you can relax.

“Last week was my first experience with Camp Caucasus and first experience with mountain camping in general. In this case the organisers showed a high level of professionality organising these kind of camps. 1) organizational part was up to point; 2) organisers communicated with us properly before the camp to inform what to bring with us/what not to bring/what to expect/ what we will eat etc. in all aspects so I felt prepared; 3)in mountains we can never predict the weather percisely and I liked that organisers were open minded to change something in our scedual so we don't miss the most beautiful sights. 4) One thing I did not prepare myself was that the hiking in mountains was actually hard for me ( and I'm trained :), so be prepared physically. Another thing I did not prepare myself was generosity of Georgian people and a LOT of tasty food there. 🙃”
